Care And Support

The Support Zone area of our Small Groups Ministries is designed to offer groups that meet with the purpose of sharing love and support to one another.  In this growing area we have groups designed for individuals going through various difficulties or changes that we sometimes face.

Are you or a friend, neighbor, co-worker, or relative going through a difficult time?
Here’s a great way to get help—through Covenant Church International’s Stephen Ministry!

Stephen Ministers are members of CCI who have received special training to provide high quality, confidential, one-to-one, Christian care to people who are grieving the loss of a loved one, coping with a cancer diagnosis, going through a divorce or separation, battling a chronic illness (or caring for a spouse or parent who is chronically ill), experiencing a great deal of stress, facing the loss of a job — or encountering any of countless other life challenges.

Stephen Ministers meet weekly with their care receivers to listen, care, encourage, and provide emotional and spiritual support. (Males are matched with males, and females are matched with females.) The caring relationship lasts for as long as the person needs care. It’s free, and it’s a powerful way you can help a hurting friend.

To learn how to connect with a Stephen Minister contact the church office at the information below. You can also talk with one of our Stephen Ministry Leaders before or after our Sunday Morning Celebration service. Our Stephen Ministers are here to care!

Help and Healing for the Hurt of Separation or Divorce

DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone. Most people will tell you that separation and divorce are the most painful and stressful experiences they’ve ever faced. It’s a confusing time when you feel isolated and have lots of questions about issues you’ve never faced before.

DivorceCare seminars and support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You’ll gain access to valuable resources to help you deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life.

DivorceCare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life. Each DivorceCare session has two distinct elements:

A Seminar with Experts
During the first 30–40 minutes of the meeting, each DivorceCare group watches a video seminar featuring top experts on divorce and recovery subjects. These videos are produced in an interesting-to-watch television magazine format featuring expert interviews, real-life case studies and on-location video.

A Support Group with Focus
After viewing the video, group participants spend time as a support group, discussing what was presented in that week’s video seminar and what is going on in the lives of group members.

HisHelping Hands

Heart to Help and Hands to Respond

His Helping Hands Covenant Charegivers help others in need with simple tasks.  Our main goal is to take care of and lift one another up in prayer.  We can all use some help from time to time when we have:

  • Surgery
  • A New Baby
  • Sickness
  • A Death in the Family
  • Injury

Also people who are full time caregivers can use a little resipte sometime and the elderly sometimes could use help with tasks at home or running errands.

Our volunteers are trained and matched up with a person in need of assistance in a confidential way.  Our ministry is two fold:  we have our volunteers who meet to support, fellowship, and care for one another in a group setting as well as that we are reaching out to indivduals in the community on a one-to-one basis.  We are looking for people who would like to give care as well as those who are in need.

If you would like to volunteer please contact us at
