Joe grew up in Massachusetts and still roots for his Boston teams. He has a passion for fitness and wellness and has been teaching exercise classes since 2011.

Joe earned his BS in kinesiology from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. He went on to get an MS in biomechanics from UW-Milwaukee but soon realized that clinical work was much more fun than sitting in a lab by yourself all day. He went to UW-Madison for PT school and fell in love with Madison. Joe was lucky to have a clinical rotation at the American Family Children’s Hospital and fell in love with pediatrics. He went on to work at the children’s hospital for 8 years before transitioning to the Madison School District and now CI part-time. He has been working for 9 years now and has a passion for working in pediatrics. In 2016 Joe earned his Pediatric Clinical Specialist board certification through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialists. Joe believes that the best way to improve function is through play and prides himself in making all therapy sessions as fun as they are productive.
