Laura has lived in four different states. She loves hiking and has a goal of visiting all the national parks in the United States. Laura has run four marathons and one 50k and plans on completing another race soon.

Laura earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Illinois-Urbana/Champaign and her master’s degree in occupational therapy from Washington University in Saint Louis School of Medicine. Laura has worked with children of all ages in multiple settings, including outpatient clinics, Early Intervention home visits, and schools. Laura has experience working with a variety of diagnoses, including autism spectrum disorder, Down Syndrome, developmental delays, fine motor delays, and sensory processing difficulties. Laura utilizes a child-centered, play-based, and strengths-based approach to treatment in order to create fun and engaging treatment ideas that are tailored to each individual client. Laura is passionate about working in pediatrics and collaborating with families to achieve their goals! In her free time, Laura enjoys hiking with her dog, exploring the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
