Michelle loves geography, especially maps and the Great Lakes. She enjoys visiting national parks. She took 10 years of figure skating lessons.

Michelle grew up in a small town in northern Wisconsin and enjoys serving the youth and families of Wausau and the surrounding communities! She earned her bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from UW-Eau Claire and her master’s degree in occupational therapy from UW-La Crosse. She has worked with children for many years through her roles as a swim instructor, assistant early childhood teacher, lifeguard, childcare provider, and occupational therapist. Her major clinical experiences included treating and learning from children in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) and pediatric outpatient clinic, including her work as an intensive therapy provider as part of the advance program. She loves fueling imaginations and playing on the floor, all while bringing a calm and patient energy to her work. Working with children makes her heart very happy! In her free time, Michelle enjoys swimming, kayaking, hiking, ice skating, and playing board, dice, and card games with friends and family.
