Catherine (Catie) Oehler

MS, CCC-SLP

Speech-Language Pathology
West Middleton Therapy Supervisor

Catie_Oehler_updated headshot photo with white wood background, has light brown hair and a CI Therapies black t-shirt on.
Catie randomly decided she wanted to be a speech therapist on the first day of college orientation and never looked back! She loves playing card and board games like Euchre, Cribbage, and Canyon. Her husband also works at CI as a PT!

Catie loves her Badgers as she spent both her undergraduate and graduate degrees studying speech-language pathology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During therapy, she loves using the child’s interests to make sure they enjoy coming to speech every day as this helps them to meet their goals faster.  Catie is trained in PROMPT therapy, which is a tactile-kinesthetic approach used to facilitate accurate production of speech sounds. Treating apraxia is a passion of Catie’s. She also recently completed Learn Play Thrive Approach to Autism and works to provide a safe, neurodiversity affirming environment for all the kids she sees. During her free time, Catie loves spending time with her husband, Sam, and two young boys, Malcolm and Otis exploring new places, listening to the same Disney song over and over, and laughing a lot.
