Elaina played soccer in college at Marquette University. Her favorite food is sushi. She enjoys baking gluten free treats in her spare time!

Elaina earned her bachelor’s degree in speech pathology and audiology from Marquette University and her master of science in speech-language pathology at Marquette University. Prior to joining the CI team, Elaina has experience working in pediatric outpatient settings. Through these experiences she discovered a passion for relationships-based and child-led therapy approaches which inspired her to get her DIR Floortime Basic certificate. She additionally has received training in the SOS Approach to feeding to support children and adolescents with feeding needs. Her additional areas of interest include supporting Gestalt Language Processors using the Natural Language Acquisition framework and supporting individuals who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices. She believes in highlighting each child’s individual strengths and sharing joy while celebrating wins big and small. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, reading, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Jordan.
