Under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, King Solomon wrote, “Where there is no vision, the people perish.”
We at Covenant Church have a two-fold vision:
“To know Him and to make Him known.”
We know it is a lofty goal, but God can do incredible things through ordinary people whose hearts belong to Him!
Covenant Church began in June of 1976 as a small home fellowship group. This small congregation was strongly motivated to acknowledge the Lordship of Jesus Christ, the power of the Holy Spirit, and a life founded in Biblical principles.
In 1987, the church purchased land at 12621 Strickland Road in Raleigh. Early in 1988 construction began on a church building, and we moved into our own sanctuary in November of 1988!
Through the years God has continued to bless us with growth and maturity, and in August of 2003, we moved into a brand new 800-seat Worship Center! We continue to seek God about what is next for CCI. It’s so exciting - come join us as we continue the journey!
