Lu Meares serves as Executive Assistant
Lu was born in Winston-Salem with stops in New Jersey and then Greensboro in her growing up years. She graduated from N.C. State in 1977, worked for six years as a sportswriter at The News and Observer, and joined the CCI Admin Staff in 1984. After many years of involvement with CCI Singles Ministry, Lu married Paul Meares in 2007. Lu has two step-daughters, Jessica and Patricia, and three fun and wacky dogs!
What does Lu do for fun? "I love to relax by watching re-runs of The Andy Griffith Show and old movies from the 1940's. Paul and I enjoy riding our bikes, running, and working out in the gym. I love to go crazy rooting for the N.C. State Wolfpack and the Carolina Hurricanes!"
